Terms & Conditions of Service
These Terms & Conditions are in place to create clarity, care, and mutual respect between Rooted Space Cleaning (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and our clients (“you”). Our goal is always to provide thoughtful, high-quality service while honoring your space.
By booking or receiving services from Rooted Space Cleaning, you agree to the following:
1. Services
Rooted Space Cleaning provides residential cleaning services as outlined at the time of booking. Services are owner-operated and tailored to each home based on the information provided prior to the appointment.
Please note:
Cleaning results may vary depending on the condition of the home and surfaces
We do not guarantee the removal of all stains, buildup, or wear caused by long-term use
2. Access to Your Home
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your home at the scheduled service time.
If we are unable to access the home, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation
Please inform us in advance of any alarms, special entry instructions, or access concerns
3. Pets
We love pets. For everyone’s safety:
For everyone’s safety, pets must be secured, contained, or otherwise safely managed during the visit
Rooted Space Cleaning does not assume liability for pet-related incidents, injuries, escapes, or damage during service
4. Products & Supplies
We primarily use eco-conscious, non-toxic cleaning products.
If you request the use of specific products, please provide them and inform us in advance
We are not responsible for damage caused by client-supplied products or equipment
5. Damage & Liability
Rooted Space Cleaning treats your home with care and respect. However:
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items that are fragile, unstable, or improperly installed
Clients are responsible for notifying us of delicate, valuable, or special-care items prior to service
Any accidental damage caused directly by us must be reported within 24 hours of the service
Our liability, if any, is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided
We carry general liability insurance for additional peace of mind.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens.
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling
Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee of $50.00
7. Payment
Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated in advance
Returned or failed payments may result in additional fees or declined future service
8. Satisfaction
Your comfort matters.
If something feels missed or not aligned with expectations, please reach out within 24 hours so we can address it thoughtfully
9. Biohazards & Scope of Work
For health and safety reasons, Rooted Space Cleaning does not provide services involving biohazardous conditions. This includes, but is not limited to:
Human or animal bodily fluids (blood, urine, feces, vomit)
Mold remediation
Pest or rodent infestations
Hoarding situations requiring specialized equipment or training
If we arrive and discover conditions outside the scope of standard residential cleaning, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue service. In such cases, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.
10. Respectful Environment
Rooted Space Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in environments that feel unsafe, unsanitary beyond scope, or disrespectful.
11. Agreement
By booking or receiving services from Rooted Space Cleaning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Rooted Space Cleaning exists to support calm, clarity, and care — for your home and for those within it.
